A Grandmother’s Glorious World ~ The Elf Hunt

My Eloise {in the little jacket} turned 7 this weekend. The photos were all taken at Bryan Park in Richmond, Virginia, on Sunday. She and her friend, Georgia, are elf hunting amongst the trees and the azaleas and doing a bit of posing for me and my trusty camera. It was a gorgeous day and all the flowers were in full bloom. Thank goodness Richmond is only 3 hours from our door in Lexington to theirs. 

A Granddaughter is so special
She will fill your life with love
Like a rainbow made with sunshine
When rain falls from above
Precious memories she will give you
Many heartaches and some tears
She's a treasure that is priceless
That will last you all your years
