I usually post one and at the most two photos for Sunday Bridges, but this week I did not think I could not do the old Humpback Bridge justice without doing this series. There is the old bridge with the railroad bridge beside it. I hope the shots do not take too long to load, because it is such a beautiful and special spot. Over the years it has been washed away by flooding three times, but each time rebuilt. It’s a favorite spot for sweethearts, beer drinkers, teenagers wanting to leave their names in wood, picnickers, and just folk like ourselves who just want a beautiful spot to visit and photograph.
This series is linked to Sunday Bridges offered by San Francisco Bay Daily Photo. Please visit the site to see more beautiful shots of bridges from around the world.
