You never know what you’re going to see when hiking in the woods. This was definitely a first for us...a piece of a tire attached to a tree up high in the woods on our property. Like I mentioned in an earlier post...”No Trespassing” signs do not do much good.

Reflections in Color

This shot was taken during our Christmas visit to MD.  I could not believe my eyes when I saw this colorful reflection in the water. Sorry I did not get more of it in the picture, but I got as close as I could and shot with my telephoto lens. I think it would have taken standing on a firetruck ladder to capture the entire image.

Sunset over Lake at Douthat State Park
