You never know what you’re going to see when hiking in the woods. This was definitely a first for us...a piece of a tire attached to a tree up high in the woods on our property. Like I mentioned in an earlier post...”No Trespassing” signs do not do much good.

and I Heart Macro.
What an odd thing to find in the woods! Both nice shots, last one with the texture is my fave.ReplyDelete
how does that happen?ReplyDelete
How awfull to hang that in a tree on your property.ReplyDelete
Ya, unusual spot for a chunk of rubber, isn't it? Great find tho. At first, I thought it was a piece of burned charcoal [from wood...a campfire]. Don't ask. LOLReplyDelete
MY MACRO LINK Drop by and see if you can find something seasonal hidden in the images. Just for fun.
Hmmm, now that is a true mystery.ReplyDelete
Well that's unusual!ReplyDelete
There must be some kind of story here... what an odd combination. The string would not have supported a tire swing and I can only come up with "target practice"?ReplyDelete
Enjoy your week, mon amie, and thanks for your visit.
Bises from the other Genie ;-)
What the heck...is somebody doing on your property and then littering it up like this. Wow, that would make me kind of crabby to say the least!ReplyDelete
That tree looks tired. ;)ReplyDelete
Weird and amazing!
haha! and they said tires didn't grow on trees!ReplyDelete
thanks for stopping by.
Wonderful and amazing composition with that piece of tire, a very good picture. Greetings.ReplyDelete
Well, that would be rather unexpected. I can't even imagine how it would get there.ReplyDelete
Is that a nail holding the tire to the tree? How bizarre!ReplyDelete
Thank you for your kind words, it's nice to know people appreciate your work :-)
Det gäller att ha ögonen på skaft när man vandrar i skogen. Tack för din kommentar. AnitaReplyDelete
