i like that last one with the hint of green in the leaves, too.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful& I love the quote!
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful interpretation of the prompt. Sometimes we need a relief from being inundated with so much color. Very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI see that you are a Yankees fan. Me too! But for a different reason, I suspect. Back in the late 60s I worked my way through college by living with a young Yankee pitcher, Steve Hamilton, and being a mother's helper for him and his wife Shirley's three children. Fond memories of summers living with the family in New Jersey/NYC and ballgames at Yankee Stadium.
Genie you are playing with Lightroom.
ReplyDeleteSo delicate - beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteboth are lovely! I like how you've cropped it with the three leaves in upper left!
ReplyDeleteI really love that first one, to me it has just the right amount of color with the b/w.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Your choice of the tulip for the challenge was perfect. It really highlights its beauty and doesn't let background colors distract.
