Maple Tree Leaves about Gone ~ Daily Photo ~ 10-2-12

I took this picture as I was leaving for school this morning.  In just a week, my big old maple is about out of leaves because they are all here on the ground thanks to the wind and the rains. They are so colorful and pretty. It was so damp and chilly last night, I actually turned up the gas heaters for a bit. Boy, did that warmth feel good.

    I love the pic, I'm sure the leaves were pretty on the tree but the wind had its way.

    Heater on, leaves on the ground! You've got Autumn Genie! The red lawn chairs on the fallen leaves are a great transition shot -- summer to fall.

    We haven't quite reached that point in Atlanta yet, but leaves are definitely changing.
