This is Buddy's fat cat, Trouble, who lives atop the bed. LAZY!!!!! He likes no one but Buddy..not even sweet little ol' me! Sadly, he does have to put up with me if he wants food while Bud hikes. That is the only time he comes near. Let people come into the house....he hides for safety. When we are out of town and my friend comes to feed him and Jack, she NEVER sees him. He's the Mystery Cat to all visitors.

We have a cat like that. He stays in the bedroom until the dog goes to bed then he roams the rest of tse He likes only Mr. Cozy and I. He hides from everyone else. He brings us gifts......that's a post in itself.
ReplyDeleteAre you feeling any better.
he's loyal to his master. :)
ReplyDeleteAh, I have a cat like that- the only reason she tolerates me is because I am in control of her food bowl. All the grands are scared of her!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, and at least he doesn't run hide when he sees the camera like one of my yorkies does. Nearly impossible to get his photo!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny he doesn't like you. My daughters dog doesn't like her either, little lucy's heart belongs to her Hubby also. Hope you are finally having Spring that way. No sigh of her here yet. So depressing.
ReplyDeleteHis name is truly Trouble? He looks cute and harmless enough - he's sleeping. Two of my cats are very shy also - when people visit they've no clue that there are three cats living here. (At least I hope they cannot detect the litter boxes!) Trouble is lucky to have Buddy loving him at least! Happy weekend to you Genie.
ReplyDeleteI guess Buddy had bad experience of mean people sometime. :(
ReplyDeleteLucky he's got Buddy and you to take care of him. He seem to have a really nice home. With a comfortabel bed. ;)
It's funny how some cats trust only one person. Strange.
ReplyDeleteA cute picture. Our cat has the same character, it is only hubby she likes. She only likes me when I open the door to let her out.
ReplyDeleteThat cat is having good time.
ReplyDeleteBuddy can always hum or sing that song "he's got a friend in me" and "Trouble" knows that - funny how animals bond to one person in particular. They can love or not love everybody, friendly or not be, but always bond with one special person.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute shot.
ReplyDeleteCute shot with his tail curled in like that. Glad we have a glimpse of the mystery cat. :)
ReplyDeleteOur cat Heidi is the same. She hides in the closet when company comes. When my granddaughters come they do check her out in the closet. As soon as she hears a door she runs till she knows if it's just me or my husband.
ReplyDeleteI am sure he is cute, but I find such cats to be nothing more than free-loaders. unless, of course, I am the one she loves :)
ReplyDeletesounds like my Chloe... actually, she was my daughter's cat, but Chloe stayed when my daughter moved out...
ReplyDeleteis he brown or orange? interesting coloring. ( :
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Granny's friend had a cat that hid behind the bath tub when someone came visiting.
ReplyDeleteWe have a mystery cat too!!! Trouble is a beauty!!! Maybe he wouldn't get into so much trouble if he was more sociable???!!!! Haha...fat chance!!! Ours is a Calico...she's sweet, a holy terror, and a love bug...
ReplyDeleteTrouble may be trouble because he knows he's so handsome...you know how that goes!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a Calico who is shy with people...she's a love bug, and then turns around and becomes Osama bin Kat!!!
