the sun was out with shadows stretching all across the yard.
I just had to stop packing up the car for Buddy's 10K in Richmond to take these pictures.
I will put up some great race pictures this week. They are a hoot!

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of sharply cut tree branch shadows like yours.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely Blue Ridge shadows - given these serene views, I cannot imagine a creek overflowing to any great degree. Yet, nature's fure makes a lot of things happen we might never imagine...all I see here on this non-stormy day is a bucolic and beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteGenie I like the way you are experimenting with your shots. Practice makes perfect.
ReplyDeleteNice post - its a shame the spring will come along and mess up these shadows!!! (not really!)

ReplyDeleteWow! That's quite a mass of long shadow lines from the boughs of the trees! Interesting photos!
ReplyDeleteI love it when we are out driving and see things we otherwise would never see. Soon buds n leaves will live in those shadows once again. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is like a river of shadows.
