Buddy and one of my good teacher pals before the Frosted Toe Run.
The sky really was that blue.
Bright blue and clouds mixed
with a bit of leftover snow thrown in for good measure.

I found this to be a gentle mix of color.
Our view of Roanoke, VA, from up on Mill Mt.
The gray clouds are moving in.
Another sunrise out here on the creek.
The cows are already eating their breakfasts.
What a life!

ReplyDeleteWay to go Buddy in the frosted toe race. Cute name for a winter relay. Went snowshoeing today and saw 2 coyotes. They ran off, had my 22 strapped on my back. Coyotes are real dangerous now, so anyone out in woods wants to be prepared. They won't attack crowd, but I wouldn't want to be out there alone. They are not afraid, because they have been protected, but there are so many now, that the ban has been lifted. Too bad young girl only 19 out running got attacked and mauled alone - few cases similar to that and now you get $20 a pelt, head or whole carcass. I won't hunt them, but am prepared just in case. I love your photos Genie - they always remind me of beautiful paintings and would you mind much if I sent the photo of the cows munching on their breakfast to my neice in Saint John. She would adore this photo. Thanks a bunch. lol
ReplyDeleteIt is in the 40's here and it is all I can do to get out there for my run as it is too cold for me. Buddy would probably run in just a t-shirt in the 40's. How did he do in the Frosted Toe Run? The name alone would deter me.
