Out came the little children running.
All the little boys and girls,
With rosy cheeks and flaxen curls,
And sparkling eyes and teeth like pearls,
Tripping and skipping, ran merrily after
The wonderful music with shouting and laughter.
~Robert Browning
go, pink lady, go!
ReplyDeleteshe'd be easy to pick out in a crowd!
ReplyDeleteSome people don't look in a mirror?
ReplyDeleteI read your previous post, what a beautiful house you lived in, I like it very much. The prices have increased here too. If I had known 30 years ago what would happen, I never had left Amsterdam. Now it is impossible to return anymore.
I love the whimsical outfits that some people wear to the big races. Here in Tulsa there is a guy that dresses like Forrest Gump (run, Forrest Run!), men and women wearing tutus, firemen in full gear (for 9.3 miles!!!!) and all sorts of other characters.

ReplyDeleteIf yer gonna RUN - may as well have fun doing it. We have our few annual marathons/relays and it sure is fun to see the crazy outfits everyone wears. Go Pink Lady Go :)
ReplyDeleteWass this a breast cancer race...because of the bright pink garb? Or just a fancy for pink, I wonder?
