Sunday Bridges ~ 8-21-11 ~ Bud’s Long Trail Contribution

Bud’s Swinging Bridge ~ Close to the Canadian Border
Boy, do I have him well trained. I have had him haul me so many places looking for my beloved swinging bridges, that yesterday he sent me back this shot with his iPhone. He is getting closer and closer to the end of the Long Trail. He will be at the border either late tomorrow evening or on Monday. I cannot wait to see the smile on his face. It has been a long and lonely 3 weeks for me, but he has had a fabulous hike through the Green Mts. of Vermont.

  2. Your sweet hubby is doing some darn good work with that i-phone!

And I love that he's thinking of you and what day it is and what you want to post on each day. What a guy!

  4. That is a funny story you told on my blog. You were one of those music makers in the tube long ago. Maybe I have seen you then because I have been in London several times in the sixties and seventies. Those were the days indeed. I admire your husband's hike very much, he is doing now something he always wanted to do like everybody did in those old days. We had friends who travelled to Africa or Ibiza, we didn't but it was a fun time to live in for sure. Hope you hubbie returns home safely.
