When none of my little darlings are here with me, I try to sneak in a wee bit yogi, but today was the first time I was running back and forth checking the camera. I must have taken 20 shots here in the cellblock to get these two keepers. They are supposed to go up on Flickr on Mondays, so I didn’t have any time to spare.  At one point 3 boys came through the door, and down I went...OUCH!  Ah, what an old lady won’t do to get that shot! Now, I have to figure out what I am going to come up with for next Monday. This is NOT easy.

Our Front Yard

Boy, was this one hard to take....placing and replacing the camera, setting the timer, running time after time to plop in the snow, and then running back to check the camera. I have no clue how many times I had to do this to finally get a result with which I was happy. Thought it was gonna to be an easy commitment, but I have found out differently. I am totally amazed at the selflies the other participants are posting. They are awesome.

A Piece of Me ~ {in the picture} ~ 52 in 52 ~ #8

Taking selfies is really difficult. Here I am in my “cellblock” without any discipline referrals. My principal allows me to read, knit, or do hand work...even mess on my computer when I am not inundated with students. The decorations on the OLD blackboard - the only one in the building - are drawn by my little 6 year old granddaughter, Eloise. I am working on the hand stitched and stuffed Valentines I gave to people for Valentine’s Day this year. I haves the Rebel set on timer, and it is sitting in front of my at another desk.
