I Did It ~ Water Droplets Mid-Air

Bidet~Urinal~Water Fountain/Hand Pump

The more I look at this the funnier it gets....is it a bidet, urinal, or water fountain?  To me it looks like all three though the shape is a bit odd for the first two. Actually this is the old hand operated water spicket at Bear Town State Park in West Virginia. Trust me...I would not drink out of it for anything. The exciting thing about this shot for me is I FINALLY captured water droplets asthey were flying through the air. Wish they had great reflections in them
like so many of yours do, but this makes me happy. Right now I am having a problem with Blogger where it will not allow me to change the alignment to the of the script left instead of center. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks to y'all  for all the help you have been giving me while taking the eCourse. I really do appreciate your comments and helpful words of advice.

I’ve Fallen and I Can’t Get Up ~ 10-22-11

Fallen Tree in Beartown State Park ~ Droop Mt. ~ West Virginia
(Because of the canopy and thickness of the forest, there were just bits and pieces of light coming through here and here. I chose not to lighten the photograph because I wanted you to see it as I did. It was like walking in a magical Hobbit Land. I will be posting more wonderful shots during the week so stayed tuned.)

"If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer.  But if he spends his days as a speculator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time, he is deemed an industrious and enterprising citizen."
~Henry David Thoreau

Water, Anyone - 10-10-11

Yes, We FINALLY have our internet back up and working. It was a long three weeks.

Water, Anyone?
(Old, old hand pump at “Bear Town” State Park in West Virginia.)

This is what the pump actually looks like. It was very dark...
about 5:00 when I took these two photos.
