Bidet~Urinal~Water Fountain/Hand Pump
The more I look at this the funnier it gets....is it a bidet, urinal, or water fountain? To me it looks like all three though the shape is a bit odd for the first two. Actually this is the old hand operated water spicket at Bear Town State Park in West Virginia. Trust me...I would not drink out of it for anything. The exciting thing about this shot for me is I FINALLY captured water droplets asthey were flying through the air. Wish they had great reflections in them
like so many of yours do, but this makes me happy. Right now I am having a problem with Blogger where it will not allow me to change the alignment to the of the script left instead of center. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks to y'all for all the help you have been giving me while taking the eCourse. I really do appreciate your comments and helpful words of advice.
This post is linked with Macro Monday.
your title made me laugh. and the spray of water just needed one of those little boy yard statues at the front of it. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought it was ice cubes.
ReplyDeleteNope. I wouldn't drink for it either. I've not tried catching waterdrops before. Good job.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of the waterdrops. I would not drink from it either.
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done Genie - I like the colour in the first "worn" photo. Great job.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your shot, very nice.
ReplyDeleteTruly wonderful capture! Each drop looks like it has a flame behind it.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful to catch the water drops! The composition is great and there is movement in the photo. The waterdrops are frozen in time!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your promise to write a story! If you send it to me I publish it on my blog! I know you can do it!!
Great shot! Took me a couple of seconds to process what this might be! Thought it some kind of foreign toilet! I guess in a way it is!

ReplyDeleteMagnificent shot ~ Wow! ~ (A Creative Harbor) ^_^
ReplyDeleteHow funny! But if just looking at the water droplets, very pretty. You are amazing all the courses you take and how you keep improving your skills (which were, IMHO, pretty darn high to begin with ;>)
ReplyDeletegreat shot genie!! love the color of the "bidet" lol in the first shot :) hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI gave up on Blogger post alignment issues a long time ago!
ReplyDeleteIf you or I were html gurus we could probably hand code it, but seeing how I use the what you see is what you get editor, i am never able to straighten things out. The more i try the more things get wonky!
That is why my post have images to the left, right and center!
Cant really complain for free though can we?
When I saw the tumbnail I was wondering what kind of pic that is. You depicted the waterdroplets so precise. That is a amazing pic! Thanks for sharing.
