Inspired Sunday

Fayetteville Baptist Church ~ Fayetteville, West Virginia

Looking on the church’s site, I learned it was “constituted" September 16,1854, with 22 charter members. The present building was built in 1971. This bell was made at the McShane Bell Foundry in Baltimore, Maryland and the date on it says 1899. The foundry is still in existence, and when you go to their site you can see pictures of their gorgeous bells...and the site chimes for you.

  1. A fine looking brick church! Builders don't use brick in California because of the earthquakes.

«Louis» is delighted that you stopped by! :-)
