Bud and I took the grandsons to the park one day last week while we were visiting my son and his family on Baimbridge Island, WA. I could not resist taking my turn on the slide, and Bud couldn't resist taking pictures of me making a fool of myself. Thank goodness he stopped before I made my wonderful plop at the bottom. The child in the background in two of the shots is our seven year old grandson. I may be 73, but it is obvious I am still a child at heart and have no trouble poking fun at myself.
You are never too old to have fun!!
ReplyDeleteVery few people can resist a slide! It was fun, right? Nice shadow shots!
ReplyDeleteI love this fun sequence with nice shadows, greetings.
ReplyDeleteIf you have to re-board the plane do not forget my picture, ha ha.

ReplyDeletetoo cute, genie! :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots. He is really having good time.
ReplyDeleteI say, why grow up if you don't feel like it. :) Bud captured the fun beautifully.
ReplyDeleteHope you landed softly and spared your back...'old' is truly a state of mind. We may age, but never are old unless we will our minds to accept it - every April, I redefine the term 'old' to keep from feeling that I could be so! Fun is at any age, always aim for the brass ring...
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I would have gone down too.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadow shots.
Two thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteLove the shadowy ladder shapes round the slide! It's so much fun enjoying the children's playground! I can never resist the swing, but I make sure not too many children are around when I have a go!
ReplyDeleteIf you can't be silly sometimes, why bother at all?????
ReplyDeleteGreat fun.

Oh wow you daredevil you had a lot of fun and I am glad you are at 73just as young as I am at 74. LOL.you asked about my collages. I use picasa 3 and it is very easy just pick your photo's look at your page where it says making or such touch that and the work is done how you want it.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
Now that looks like fun...You had asked about my ducks on the deck post...I think that little female was on the ducklings of a Mama duck who showed up in the yard after having her bill damaged by a snapping turtle. She was weak and not able to be caught so I fed her and her ducklings until she regained her strength and she was able to raise her 2 ducklings...Michelle..
ReplyDeleteYou go Grandma! Hooray for you.
ReplyDeleteGo Genie Go!
