ReplyDeleteGood grief! I hope I can do half that stuff when I'm that age! I had to laugh at the nicknames! Those are funny!
ReplyDeleteWonderful post Genie (and Buddy). Inspirational.
ReplyDeleteWow, a fascinating post; I hardly know where to start! Didn't know there were hostels along the trail...laughed at the nicknames and gasped in awe at Gran. I've always been in awe of what your sweet hubby can do, but she is beyond my wildest imagination.
ReplyDeleteLooks as if this will be very interesting topic. Gran is amazing! What a fun and hard but rewarding hike!
ReplyDeleteWow, Gran is amazing. Buddy is too for that matter but I'm seriously envious of Gran.
ReplyDeleteNice post. 80 and running marathons, she's better than me at not much more than half her age!
ReplyDeleteHey, nice to see photos of Bud's hike and meet some of the people from the trail. WoW - on "Gran" of western Carilina. What a gal - 80 n still young on the trail. I am totally impressed.
