The Fishing Hole ~ Rockbridge County Style

I pass this pond in the afternoons on my way home from work if I drive the interstate. Not until I was wandering the back roads near my school looking for barns to photograph did I actually come upon it. There is a little dock on the upper right with a seat on it for the fishermen. It does not look anywhere as large here as it does from the highway. It is a good sized stocked pond and as pretty as it can be.

  1. Very serene! Everybody needs a fishing pond close to them! There is one very close to where we are camped, but with so little rain and snow, I'm afraid it won't last through the coming summer.

  2. looks very pretty - can't make up my mind which one I like better, but I guess I don't have to choose. Hope the pond will make some fisherman/woman happy:)

  4. Nice photos! I often see how a black and white can bring out more details and make a photo look more dramatic. Both versions are lovely. I appreciate your visit to my blog today and for your nice comments!

Thank you so much for your comment. I think all my blogging friends are going to be a huge support in the coming months. Bangalore is going to be an adventure but sometimes very challenging.
