I pass this pond in the afternoons on my way home from work if I drive the interstate. Not until I was wandering the back roads near my school looking for barns to photograph did I actually come upon it. There is a little dock on the upper right with a seat on it for the fishermen. It does not look anywhere as large here as it does from the highway. It is a good sized stocked pond and as pretty as it can be.
This post is linked with Watery Wednesday.
Very serene! Everybody needs a fishing pond close to them! There is one very close to where we are camped, but with so little rain and snow, I'm afraid it won't last through the coming summer.
ReplyDeletelooks very pretty - can't make up my mind which one I like better, but I guess I don't have to choose. Hope the pond will make some fisherman/woman happy:)
ReplyDeleteWell Done!
ReplyDeleteGenie,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my art blog. I like that you showed this photo in both color and black and white. Very nice work!
Nice photos! I often see how a black and white can bring out more details and make a photo look more dramatic. Both versions are lovely. I appreciate your visit to my blog today and for your nice comments!
ReplyDeleteGreat WW shot ... I like both versions!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for stopping by!
