Genie, you got a fabulous one this time. I really love it with having the bales of hay...
This is a bucolic and peaceful scene, The country road is narrow and rolls of bailed ay are pastoral. The buildings are painted that classic barn red - all in all, this is a lovely scene, Americana at its rural finest!
There's something magical and mysterious--and terribly inviting--about red barns!WELCOME, RED FRIENDS!Come in, my dear friends, and be seated, please—Oh, all of you reds are such a big tease!Scarlet, you creep over cheeks in a blush;Crimson, you’re always in such a big rush!Cherry, you’re tasty and pleasant to see;Carmine, you utterly satisfy me!So come in, my friends, and be seated, please—Of all the colors, I’d rather have these!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherLittle Red Shopping Bag
I love how the bales are neatly lined up in front of the barn and outer buildings almost like sentinels.Beautiful setting with that curving dirt road in front and the trees in the background. The texture of the pic makes this timeless.
You might not fear the wind, but you might have to worry about the rain.
What a gorgeous farm. Nice shot. :-)NoteworthyMusings
