Fairfield’s Flowers
"Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.”
~John Muir
Yesterday while waiting on my car to be serviced, I decided to take my camera and walk up Main Street in Fairfield, VA, to look for interesting old homes to photograph. When I got to this house I was almost knocked over by the beauty of these flocks, and the gentleman mowing his lawn seemed tickled that I was taking pictures of the flowers. It was one of those special times when what I saw was so pretty I just had to take a picture of it. I added Kim Klassen’s “warm sun” texture. If you enlarge the picture, you will see all of the little goodies he has all over his yard.

What a beautiful yard and he seems to be rightly proud of it.
ReplyDeleteImpressive...colorful garden. Take care. See you next week. Virginia is such a beautiful state especially the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Because of you and your camera, that man's beautifully landscaped yard brought a moment of pleasure to many people who would not have otherwise seen it! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a colorful photo, Genie. I'm so glad you shared this with us. It's going to be awhile before my garden is even close to looking like this. :)
