"There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy."

As I was driving home a few days ago, I decided to take a back road. When I got to the little town of Goshen, this vintage car appeared in front of me. Yes, I slowed down and snapped the picture while driving. I know it a no-no, but I was looking at the road - not the camera - with one hand on the wheel...driving very slowly...and just lucked out. He was not driving more than 15 MPR, but I loved every minute of the ride. This is one of those beautiful reasons to be happy. Wouldn't you love to have this?
Great shot! Hugs, Valerie

Hello Genie
ReplyDeleteA great snapshot and that is true, there are many reasons to be happy, they have to recognize them.
Greetings Sadie
Genie, I would do the exact same thing! That old car is a beauty...
ReplyDeleteI think I would have had the same temptation Genie! I have popped in to tell you about my calendar journal. It is in an 8.3 × !1.7inch sketch book - I remove some of the pages so I have just each year's pages to use (the leftovers get used easily enough!) I have been doing mine since 2011 and it's great to look back through the years. I always try to do a post of them in the first few days of the month. If you would like to know more leave a comment on my blog and I will e-mail you! Hugs, Chrisx ps signed up as a follower - I love your blog! X
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab Oldtimer!
ReplyDeleteI won't have one - but to see one is beautiful - they look so much better that our vehicles nowadays!
There seems not to be much traffic, so this oldie could ride slowly without causing a traffic jam.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how well taken care of this car is! What a beauty.
ReplyDeleteOh we have them here where I live. The old timers meet at a place soon at a ice cream Kawatha Dairy at night. Day light saving time soon. People crowd around to see the special vintage cars like yours. This is a Beaut!
ReplyDeleteI do love that car!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture! I wonder what it would be like to travel in one of those old cars.
ReplyDeleteKool Photo. My Uncle had one of those a very long time ago and he would come to the house and take all us wee children for a ride - icecream outside the car, wiped faces and back in car for another ride. Such nice days those were. Genie, I seem to have lost your email address. Can you send it in a message here to me and of course I will delete it - all my mail at blogger gets checked by me before i publish, so I will delete yours with email address. I have a couple of photos I want to send you. I tried to find Buddy on FB, but no luck. Thanks. Lilly
