lots of color!
We have little brooks that are running and thawing more at the edges everyday, so I know its just a matter of time before I can shed these layers of winter clothing. Love your brook with all its lovely colour.
Wonderful photo! The stream of life!
...and in no time the bushes will be green and it will be another great reflextion.
The reflections has been captured nicely.
It looks just the ditch I did photography this week, less the bottles... We had same kind of inspiration this week, I guess... Nice pic !
How pretty. The water is like a heavily tinted lace shot through with floral accents.
And I bet there was birdsong as well!Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
what a beautiful scenery... nicely done...
A lovely photo of the stream Genie. It has such a pretty combination of color.
Beautiful colors Genie!
Spring is coming! This is just a preview. A beautiful preview.
Great colors! Happy spring!
Surely this is a site well worth seeing.
that is so pretty genie!
Genie, What a colorful reflection--nice work. I think we are all ready for Spring to make an appearance and then "hang around" for a while. Have a great weekend. Mickie :)
I'm so looking forward to spring now that it's nearly April! We've still got ice and snow north of Toronto. ;)
Greetings from north central Iowa. Spring can't come soon enough this year for us around here. Very pretty picture. I can almost hear the gentle sound of that water.I hopped over here from your comment left on "Kathy's Quilts" blog. You wrote that you had a chugging sound with a Brother machine, even after some basic maintenance/needle changing. I basically "killed" my Brother 400 a few years ago with too much machine quilting, fast sewing, asking too much from it. It got a chugging, grinding sound deep inside and it just wouldn't behave and stitch nicely. My Brother repair guy had to replace some part deep inside the machine, down inside the foundation. I guess I'd worked it till that part broke. He said he'd never had to replace one before, but maybe you have the same problem. I eventually sold the 400 but still use and enjoy my work horse Brother 1500 (extended arm) for lots of straight stitching and occasional FMQ. Knock on wood -- so far no unwanted noises from it. I hope you get your machine(s) working well again.
Pretty reflections. Spring is coming!!!
Where are you Genie Girl - on holiday or running with Buddy. ha,ha Just checking in as you haven't been online for a bit. Hope all is well. We still have snow, although spring has officially arrived. I found pussy willows the other day walking by the river. I also had a most delightful walk yesterday, It was a beautiful day with brisk spring wind blowing and the birds were calling on the wind something fierce. Aah, I love the sound of hungry birds in the spring. They are emptying the feeders fast :) Our Geese arrived back from wintering out at the pond yesterday and they looked lean and hungry - approx 48 at last count. They are settling in for summer - I think they are happy to be home at the pond and medium brook they have taken seasonal residence in. Have a wonderful day.
I'm sure it was nice to see the colors again.
