Two Chairs ~ Three Versions

Assignment 7 for our BB2 class was to take this original picture by Kim Klassen, edit it in LR, and then move into PSE...or do whatever I chose.
It was it totally up to us to decide what we wanted to do.

This is my edit which started in LR with some Presets added, then moved it into PSE, and finally to RadLab for some final touches.

Here I once again used LR, PSE, and RadLab,
but this time I decided to convert the photo into one with gritty sepia tones.
Such cool shadows.

  1. I love to play too. In this case I like the top one where the blue pops.

  3. Hi Genie,
I love to fiddle around with editing, too. It's so much fun exploring the many options. I use Picmonkey and find it a delight. I did upgrade for a small fee and am glad I did.
Your sepia toned photo is my favorite. It adds such a charming effect. I am reminded of summers sitting outside sipping on iced tea.
    I'm so glad you shared.
Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. It's such a pleasure knowing you.
    Blessings,

  4. I love what you've done. I love edits, filters, textures, and such. Sometimes SOC isn't what we actually "see".

  5. Thinking I'm liking the antique look in the middle! Interesting subject matter! Love the background also!

  6. You are learning so much and are so talented! It is a good thing you are such a nice person or I would be severely jealous! (Seriously, it just seems incredible to me that you can do so much beautiful work with this class all the while you are working in an important and stressful job!)

  7. My fav is the middle one! But then I'm partial to faded photos!!! Love B&W too..but in this case, the faded photo has more vintage interest!!!
