"Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the wind and feel the rain. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams."
~Ashley Smith
If you go hiking up in the Blue Ridge Mountains these days, you still see lots of sights like this. What a beautiful work of nature's art...pretty as a picture.

This post is linked with Watery Wednesday II over at Bluff Area Daily.

  1. very Nice Genie,
looks really frozen ! but hopefully spring is coming...

  2. Water can take many forms and beauty is one of them.

  3. A great quote to live by! Your ice-falls is pretty. Great post, Genie!

  4. Hi Genie - it is indeed a beautiful work of nature's art. I was up to Saint John out by one of the parks and there was a very large freeze-over, and thick, thick ice down over the waterfall, and a bunch of fellas were learning how to climb up the wall with all the proper gear. The only day I did not have my camera or even phone to take photos. However, I did watch and it was pretty neat - wanted to try that myself. It is amazing how a dribble of water down a rock is missed in summer, but it sure shows up in winter, eh. Have a wonderful day :)

  5. This is very neat looking but I am sure it must have been quite cold while looking for it. Hope you were able to finally get some sleep.

  6. Genie. You are in the swap. I just added your name. We need to catch up. It is five items. One will be sent back to you. Read the previous posts for more information. Hope you are okay.

  7. Yes, a beautiful photo. I love the frame, seem a waterfall frozen. Greetings.

  8. Great find and photo! I hope to never see a sight like that where I live!
