Lovely Photo and I did not know you could eat the "Bud", peeling first because of tiny stickers on the skin. Very interesting and great contrast on the photo.
Cactus apples? I used to see them along side the road as a child and longed for my father to stop the car so I could see what those little red things were! :)

ReplyDeleteThose are very sweet to the taste. Just be sure to peel the skin off first and do so with gloves as there are very tiny little stickers on the skin.
