Hiking in Black and White ~ 9-7-12

 I took this shot this morning before leaving for school. 
We have several of them placed strategically on our property.

One of the mountains Buddy summited in Maine on his hike this summer. 
Those are his poles.

  7. Adore all these scenes in monochrome! But my favourite must be the second photo! The poles/posts in a cross shape and rocks (like a sacred cairn) give a sense of personal achievement to the mountain! Delightful!
