Our Snow Covered "Bridge to Somewhere"

I do not like driving over our “Bridge to Somewhere” when it is covered with so much snow. Usually I get Buddy to come in from running a bit before 7:00 to drive me up to the road. From there I am OK. I just do not do snow or ice well. Fortunately, school is always closed if our main road into town
is not well plowed.

This post is linked with "Sunday Bridges" sponsored by Louis LaVache and his fabulous Holy Cow Coffee. The way to get your day off to a great start is to have a cup of his coffee. It does the trick for me every morning.

  2. Genie, this is a sight so foreign to Australian eyes, at this time of the year, but indeed, at any time of the year. I understand it is very beautiful, and one gets used to it, but it must make life a trial at times.

  3. I might prefer to just stay home and look out onto the snow covered bridge rather than cross it.

  4. This is a pretty winter photo of your bridge. We had so little snow here in New York City this year that it almost didn't seem like we had a winter at all.

  5. Driving in snow is always somewhat perilious even for the ploughmen.

  6. Genie I don't blame you for not wanting to drive on the snow covered bridge. I hope this is the end of the snow.

  9. The bridge is "flooded" with snow, like ours with rain water.

  12. I don't think I'd like to be on that bridge with all that snow no matter who was driving.

  15. This really is an amazing amount of snow, and I cannot blame you for not wanting to drive over that bridge. Pretty gorgeous though and really great if you are not driving. Best I think when you are sitting in front of the fireplace and looking out of your window. Love the shot of you doing a snow angel too.

Once I as caught in a blizzard and slipped and fell many times. I was so embarassed.
