Wonderful to see.. It's great to share our local scenes..
ReplyDeleteTake care..
The US 60 looks to be a glass smooth blacktop, nestling the Blue Ridge nicely. With views looking so nice to the left, we have to remind ourselves to watch the road too when driving...
ReplyDeleteVery nice road; I don't see any potholes! LOL
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo, I love the exquisite light and shadows and lights on this road. Your comment does not make me laugh, on the contrary, I consider it very successful according to my idea of the work.
ReplyDeleteYour country road looks just like the roads in Morgan County, Kentucky, where I lived once upon a long time ago!

Glad to have found another VA blogger! For a few years, I lived in Lynchburg, VA and commuted weekly to Colonial Heights (just south of Richmond, north of Petersburg) to play organ. Needless to say, I took every way possible to break up the monotony. A favorite--especially in the early Fall, was to take 29 from Lynchburg up to Route 60 and take 60 all the way into Richmond. Beautiful area!
