Do you all have any guesses as to who or what might have left these prints? Bud and I are just not sure. We saw hem up on the Blue Ridge Parkway so they are NOT ours.
My first thought was dog. Perhaps something in the dog family - coyote? Though we hear coyotes at night, I don't really know what their paw prints look like. No matter what it is, that is a great photo of paw prints in the snow! Lea Lea's Menagerie
Hey! Thanks so much for dropping by my blog, I totally appreciate the kind words. Love your blog and your photos. Good luck with your Rebel XSi, it's a great camera (and thanks for the idea of Macro Monday, I've GOT to check that out!).
Well here in Pacific Northwest we would say they might be Big Foot tracks...but then again I'm thinking Bear. Whatever they are interesting and made for a great photo.
A beast of some sort Genie. The excellent photo belongs to you.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I have no idea what those are.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea to whom thise belongs...Great shot..;-D
ReplyDeleteI am thinking it must be a bear.. the slightly turned in toe is a bit of a clue. Really lovely shot.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a small bear to me....
ReplyDeleteComposicións nice. Very mysterious. I have no idea who owns those tracks. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteAmazing paw prints! Although it looks like a bear, I was wondering if you have any bobcats or mountain lions in your area? Great photo!
ReplyDeletegiggling... how big was it? Enough for bigfoot?? :) Cool shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm not good at identifying paw prints. I'm wondering how big they are.
ReplyDeleteCount my vote for Bear. It's a pretty cool capture, but I wouldn't want to be around when it comes back!
ReplyDeleteBear? That would be my first guess.
