What a stunning capture - you captured the felt like furriness of this moth perfectly and the colors are just gorgeous.
That's a very handsome insect!!
Such a perfect picture and quote to go with it! I can tell you are MUCH younger than we are -- if I had a grandchild (or great-grand) here for a week, I'd be curled up on the sofa for the next few days. I'm glad you're not that tired -- it is great to see your posts again.
Just gorgeous! My Mellow Yellow is at at Nostalgic Marveling blog, hope you can drop by. Have a great week ahead!
Genie, What a wonderful picture of the moth!!!! AND, your granddaughter is just TOO cute!!! Love that straw hat she has on. I know you had a wonderful time with her, and she with you--6 is such a great age. Bet you're tired though!! I always say, "I'm thrilled when my grandchildren come, and I'm thrilled when they leave". So great being a Grandmother!!!! I love your Hosta Lily bloom--the flower is beautiful and the background is lovely. Mickie :)
It is a beauty!
