Gertie’s Country Store
Route 56 ~ Rockbridge County, VA
Gertie’s is alive and doing extremely well in the time of recession. You might call it the “hub” of this little community in Vesuvius, VA. If you need it, Gertie has it! It’s one of my husband’s favorite spots to stop on his way up the mountain for a day hike.

I like the name Gertie. It's perfect for a country store. I would definitely be intrigued if I was driving by!
ReplyDeleteIs there a roof? As long as Gertie has food and things needed that's all that matters. A nive "hub" for people who need it. Happy weekend!
