Great mosaic. Have a fun day.
oh my goodness! i haven't heard of a healing onion from anyone else before! we had a plant we called a healing onion that my mother kept for years and years. i SO regret not starting a bulb of it for myself. it worked wonders at pulling out slivers, drawing out infections from sores. magical cure-all for scrapes and wounds. i SO want one of my own!!!
I've never heard of that! What a neat plant!
Very cool -- there are so many different types of onions. I love seeing this one in its variety of stages. :)
What a beautiful mosaic! Love the colours and the way you composed it.

Never heard of a healing onion but it makes a very pretty mosaic!
A healing onion? Is it eaten or applied? Really, I have no idea. What a great mosaic...artfully done!

Such a very beautiful plant! Almost like a dandelion!
No tears then :-)I put on safety glasses and don't cut the roots off . that seems to stop the weeping.Still, it does one good to shed a tear or two at times.
I haven't heard of a healing onion. This one look like a very thick chive. Are these related to leeks? (being Welsh and all)
Great details on it! Love the soft colors!

I am an agriculturist but I haven't met this onion in person yet :) Love the effects you did on the photos.
Love onions in everything I make. It's true though, onions now are tearless, specially the ones I get here in the UK.
Is it edible?
Neat shots Genie. I like the one in the center best of all. The mood and colors are very nice.
Genie -- a lovely moaic -- wonderful colors. I'd love to know more about the plant too! The quote was priceless. (My house often smells like garlic or onions, so I guess I haven't been purchasing the new modern scentless kind ;>)
