Weekend in Black and White ~ 4-16-11


Atop "The Cockscomb" ~ North Mountain ~ Rockbridge County, VA


From this high vantage point, you can see the beautiful and panoramic Alleghenies. I climb the .25 mile up to this point but refuse to scale these rocks. I just let the family do it and then take the pictures. It’s a lot easier that way.

    We have six granddaughters now. The oldest is 13. They grow up so quickly.
