The barn roof must have just been painted because it was really RED!

A Piece of Me ~ {in the picture} ~ #11
Here is the final installment of my “snow angel” fiasco. You can see Jack had had enough and was heading for the house. I’d had enough, too. I made it for this last, one cold shot, and then I went in, too. Geeze, it was cold out there!
"So long, it's been good to know yuh;
So long, it's been good to know yuh;
So long, it's been good to know yuh.
But this dusty old dust is a-gettin' my home
And I've gotta be driftin' along."

But this dusty old dust is a-gettin' my home
And I've gotta be driftin' along."

Our Snow Covered "Bridge to Somewhere"
I do not like driving over our “Bridge to Somewhere” when it is covered with so much snow. Usually I get Buddy to come in from running a bit before 7:00 to drive me up to the road. From there I am OK. I just do not do snow or ice well. Fortunately, school is always closed if our main road into town
is not well plowed.

Snow Bird
If you look at the image in the center of the shot, it looks like a “snow bird” with its mouth open for food. I love the way the wet snow piles up on the bare branches. It was just last Sunday that we had this beautiful little snow...and a day off from school!
