I will spend every day making sure that they know this."

Thus post is linked with Pippa’s “Friends Meet Friends Once a Week”.
Pippa asks us what we have been doing this week. Well, I have been trying to learn how to combine my pictures and stock images to create some digital artwork. Oh, my, it is hard. One day I spent about 10 hours struggling with layers, textures, and cutting out stock pictures like in this one and getting onto the layer where I needed them to be. Then I have had to figure out how to move them to a location I like. I created a post card series “I Only Have Eyes for You” years ago, but now I am going to try to create a new one with digital images. The love of learning something new and perseverance are the name of the game.
At first, when you sent me that night, I thougt, the title would be fly away!
ReplyDeletefly away of the daily sorrows by doing something fine for the mind! Grandious, dear Genie!
this digital things cost a lot of time, but it spends a good lot of new and interesting friendships!
sweat of thousands of hours are, what I spent last year in front of the machine.but now it - no, all the time, I had good thought while I do it!
Hi Genie,
ReplyDeleteI find your collage wonderful I think these digital gadgets you'll find as fascinating as I do.
Nice weekend.

This is a way cool image...I like what you did with it.
ReplyDeleteGenie, this is one beautiful collage and I love the subtleness of the eyes. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteI do agree with Mae West :) I can see the eye Genie, love the colours you've used here. It certainly is a lot easier to experiment and have fun with digital images, looking forward to seeing your results!
ReplyDeleteI love to play around with digital photos, indeed it takes a lot of time, so it's a nice occupation for winter !
ReplyDeleteAll your hard work paid off Genie, this is impressive.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment to my post about Louise Nevelson!
ReplyDeleteSorry, but I have completely lost the ability to speak or write in English, because I never did since 1971...

Looooooooooove your work, Genie!
ReplyDeleteI think learning something new is very exciting, Genie! This is a super project for January!
ReplyDeleteThere's never a lack of things to learn in technology! Interesting collage. My biggest puzzle right now is trying to determine just how accessible my Picasa photos will be to others if I join Google+. I don't like the idea of others being able to go through all my photos, but then I don't know enough about it to know for sure that's what they mean. It annoys me that Google+ is always trying to get me to join up, but never tells me why I should want to. Sorry for rambling. Anyway, enjoy your projects. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool. I haven't worked much with layers, I should really work on improving my understanding. My first step will be to try 'focus stacking'.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteyour creations are such fun and so diverse, wonderful11
