“As you go about your daily life, you will encounter many lemons. Sour expressions, sour attitudes, sour auras! The good thing is that if you don't want to be a lemon, you don't have to be! Just don't let those lemons rub themselves all over you! And you don't even have to save them! Let lemons be lemons! One of the most important things that I have ever learned, is that I don't have to save people.”

Buddy and I go to the same physical therapist...him for his hip problems from all the running and me for my back. It was her beautiful yellow home that I posted a while back s being for sale. About three weeks ago, she said she wanted us each to take 1/2 lemon, put it in a cup of water, and then microwave it until it was boiling. Let it cool, strip the innards from the lemon into the water, and then drink it. Do this daily. She has found for herself and her patients it helps with mobility of the joints and the back. So we would not forget, I painted us a little sign of the lemons with my reminder....Don’t forget your lemons. Tonight I decided to take a photo of it and see what I could do with layers. Here is the result. The background layer is from Julie Mead.

I like your sign. Well done. Do need a drop of honey with your lemon drink?
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat way to treat joint pain. And I always liked lemons. Will have to give this a try.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your web search experience. There is nothing "adult" about the SX Elevator or my photo. SX stands for Sexauer Elevator Company, a chain of grain elevators across Minnesota and South Dakota. I think most of them are out of business these days. The Sexauer family lives in my home town, and I think they are largely out of the grain business.
Excellent tip. This will be really useful.
ReplyDeleteI' have not heard of this although I have read of drinking the juice of half a lemon with a little water every morning. I love how you took this recipe and made a reminder of it. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such an encouraging comment.
ReplyDeleteDoes it help. I like all your ne w designs. Hope you are feeling okay. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI would have sworn I commented on this....I do like it so much. Does it have to be boiled to help the joints?
