Skywatch Friday ~ 12-16-11

Heavy Frost and a Morning Sunrise at
the Sensabaugh Farm
That’s the moon up there refusing to go away.

An empty highway this morning but a sky filled with glorious color. The blue did chang a bit from the first shot until now.

And then along came the birds...what a thrill to catch them on camera. It was a first for me. I am usually too slow on the draw, and they are long done before I can click the shutter. Thank goodness the interstate was free of any other cars. Another nice early Christmas present from Mother Nature.

  2. Genie, Those shots are absolutely beautiful--great captures. Nature justs keeps giving us the most beautiful and inspiring views time after time. I love your "framing"- I'll have to learn how to do that. Hope all is going well and you are enjoying the Christmas Season. I've been a little slow in getting around to others' blogs lately--too much going on! Have a great day. Mickie :)
