The clouds are amazing in the second, yet I like the early misty morning best, it has so much mood to it.
ReplyDeleteI love the windy road leading out of frame in the first too, rather mysterious and beautiful.
Wow the second photo is amazingly beautiful. Happy weekend!

oh, that 2nd photo is greatness!
ReplyDeleteI like both your departure and arrival shots Genie. Such an interesting mixture of afternoon clouds!
ReplyDeleteI love the mist in the first shot and the sky in the second!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. It's so nice that the clouds parted just as you got home ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove that misty morning, Genie! A really breathtaking capture. They're both superb! Lovely look at your world and skies! Have a great weekend!

Stunning shots! I like both your photos: the first one because of the misty mystery and the second one because of the cloud formation.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Taking your camera to work with you. eh. It was worth it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures with deliciously light with an equisite delicate subtlety in tones. I really like those beautiful skies with clouds and fog. Hope you Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I really love the first pic.
ReplyDeleteLove the morning shot and great clouds in second. I will be over for coffee in 27 hours. ha,ha
ReplyDeleteHave a great day. Beautiful skies, n mystic morning.
The fog makes for a cool shot, but I LOVE that 2nd shot... That sky is awesome! WoW!!! =)
ReplyDeleteI decided both your pictures are my favourite...;-) The first one is very mysterious (and what's life without it's grand mysteries?) and I adore the clouds in the second one.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Genie!
Have a good weekend and thank you for your nice comment on my Skywatch-blog.
Terrence looks at the sky
I really like the eerie first shot. At first, it almost looks like a black and white photograph and then you notice the pale rose blush on the horizon. The composition is nicly handeled. If there had been less sky, it would not have been nearly as good. The eye goes right to the pinhole of light on the horizon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you must have had a mostly overcast day but it was beginning to clear. I think you are clever to take your camera to work! You captured some interesting skies!
ReplyDeleteTwo very different views of the sky: the mystery of a foggy morning leading to a variety of clouds in the evening.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully captured!
ReplyDeleteMy Skywatch, have a nice weekend!
I love both scenes and skies. I have always enjoyed the early morning fog. And the sky on your second shot is beautiful, great capture of the clouds, blue sky and all the pretty green trees. Wonderful photos, happy skywatching!
ReplyDeletewow! I love both photos, but that second one is amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots on your way home.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove both sky shots :)
