Our World Tuesday ~ 9-13-11

September 13, 2011 ~ The Drive to Work
A Foggy Morning in Rockbridge County

“Derive happiness in oneself from a good day’s work, from illuminating the fog that surrounds us.”
~Henry Matisse

This post is liked Our World Tuesday and The Creative Exchange.

For these three photos I used a combination of Kim Klassen’s
 “zenthing” and “magic4” textures.

  1. Lovely foggy shots! I like the fog, it's mysterious. Gee, I hope the spider wasn't as big as the web it spun!

  10. Wrapped in fog, there’s something mysterious and beautiful in the air, which is well represented in your photos. The cobweb and the glistening droplets are
    beautiful.

It’s very sweet of you to have left such an encouraging comment. Have happy days ahead, Genie.

  14. I bet your fog is warmer than my fog though! It is misty and mysterious! And beautiful but I'm glad I don't have to drive through it to work. (Here in Oregon, where we lived and worked, bgefore we sold the house, we don't get much snow or ice, but fog is very common in the Fall.. but when we visit here now I'm almost never up and about before it lifts.)
