A Foggy Morning in Rockbridge County
“Derive happiness in oneself from a good day’s work, from illuminating the fog that surrounds us.”
~Henry Matisse
This post is liked Our World Tuesday and The Creative Exchange.
For these three photos I used a combination of Kim Klassen’s
“zenthing” and “magic4” textures.
that spider web is impressive!
ReplyDeleteLovely foggy shots! I like the fog, it's mysterious. Gee, I hope the spider wasn't as big as the web it spun!
ReplyDeleteThese are just beautiful Genie! Fog always gives such a wonderful softness and sense of calm to photographs.

Wrapped in fog, there’s something mysterious and beautiful in the air, which is well represented in your photos. The cobweb and the glistening droplets are
ReplyDeletebeautiful.
It’s very sweet of you to have left such an encouraging comment. Have happy days ahead, Genie.
The web shot reminded me of www. :)
ReplyDeleteAren't we all connected through this web.
oops, that is one big spidernet. Very well captured. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way fog makes the world look so mysterious.
ReplyDeleteI bet your fog is warmer than my fog though! It is misty and mysterious! And beautiful but I'm glad I don't have to drive through it to work. (Here in Oregon, where we lived and worked, bgefore we sold the house, we don't get much snow or ice, but fog is very common in the Fall.. but when we visit here now I'm almost never up and about before it lifts.)
ReplyDeleteVery nice photos, with beautiful light on the fog. I love this magnificent spider, fantastic.
ReplyDeleteFog is one of my favorites - but not when I have to drive! That spider web photo is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteLovely foggy landscapes!
