Daily Photo ~ 7-12-11 ~ The Creative Exchange

Hosta Lily Bloom
The two spots of red in the background is from the begonia my principal gave me for Teacher Appreciation Day. It was so pretty I planted it in my flower bed.

  4. I love hosta lily. This image is like a fine art of Japanese painting on the silk canvas. So delicate, so refined, so soft, and so noble. The blurred begonia in the back is a good spice. Happy days ahead, Genie.

  5. You succeeded in creating a very lovely image of this hosta. My hostas are always in danger of being eaten by slugs or snails. This year I had used a pesticide and my hostas were beautiful until they were besieged by plant- lice. Well such is life! :) have a great week! Thanks for the kind comment!

  6. that a great macro shot. you enjoying the camera fully yet?

I am not a technical person, the old camera I got used to broke, and I have yet to learn the new one.

  10. I like the dynamic diagonal and beautiful texture work that you've combined in this piece! The red note of the begonia act as a great contrast to the green, too!
