White Rock Road ~ Rockbridge County, VA

Different Views Driving in the Rain

“I find peace in the rain.”
~Anonymous

had to go into town this morning, so on the way home I decided to take the "road less traveled that just happens to come out very
close to our place. It was pouring rain, but I did not care. Genie was a woman on a mission...to take photos. That is NOT snow you are seeing...it is rain on the lens...UGH! The mountains were socked in so I could see little but fog and rain.

  2. That's the way it looks here too. We have very high temperatures for this time of the year 12 C (53.6 F). Global warming?

  3. I like the first photo of the fog. You are bravery than me Genie. I don't shoot in the rain unless I am standing in a sheltered spot.

  6. It is suppose to begin raining today here in northern California and continue on for several days. We NEED it. At least it is a warm rain. How far is it to town for you?

  9. Oh, Genie, that made for wonderful shots. I miss seeing the mist/fog rise from the mountains. And I miss the way it sounds in the summer when the rain is back on the mountains but not to our house yet.
