At Fairfield Elementary School, the school where I substitute frequently, there are the sweetest murals on the walls. Unfortunately the halls are not that wide, and all I had with me was my iPhone. Consequently, I could only shoot little sections of two of these murals. The next time I go I will take my Rebel with its wide angle lens and see if I can capture more. Maybe I could use the panoramic option on the iPhone, but I do not have a clue how to attempt that one. These are absolutely adorable. Even the school sign is dear. It looks like a piece by P. Buckley Moss. I started my teaching career in 1959 as a kindergarten teacher, so after teaching middle schoolers for years and years, it is pure joy to go back and teach the little ones. They all call me Miss Genie, and I love it.

pupil with a desire to learn is hammering on cold iron.”
