Today Buddy mowed leaves...not grass.
I think I see the reflection of my house.
My birdbath is made from a $1.00 glass lightbulb cover from Goodwill.
My birdbath is made from a $1.00 glass lightbulb cover from Goodwill.
The leaves are starting to float and then sink.
This is how I feel some days... a bit off of plum.
Not a very appetizing place to sit at the moment...needs to be cleaned off.
My favorite seat....at least 20 years old.
When the leaves start falling, it is definitely lap quilt time.
These are two I made this summer...all cotton and very cozy.

ReplyDeleteOh I love autumn. Ours seems a bit delayed. A beautiful quilt Genie!
ReplyDeleteIn our area of Southern California, Fall is playing hide and seek. Today you see me, tomorrow you won't! Typical! :)
ReplyDeleteYour leaves are just beautiful and what Autumn should look like. Our pear tree is a good sign Fall has finally come..but so far, nary a leaf has fallen. I was so happy to see you had stopped by! Autumn is a time I always love...and put my heart into it.
You made some beautiful quilts, they look great.I like the autumn pictures, we have the same time of the year with chilly nights now.
ReplyDeleteHey, I think we have the same gliders. That is what my grandmother called a bench seat that didn't rock but moved for and aft. Mowing leaves. I get it. Same here. Also, I am a quilt guy. Like them over blankets. Hope you have a long fall and a mild winter.
ReplyDeleteYour a busy girl between really neat bird baths, ponds and time to relax in nice comfy chairs in yard - keep those blankets handy - you might need one in the coming days.
ReplyDeletethat's a good idea. maybe I've been overthinking finding the right birdbath.
ReplyDeleteI did not know that you quilted...I love your two lap quilts!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots, very seasonal.
ReplyDeleteI would want to sit in any of those seats snuggled in such pretty quilts, watching fall happen all around.
