I am away at my grandson’s graduation from Saint Andrews School in Delaware. I had these ready to post before I left so here they are. Both of the fences are in the Kerrs Creek area where we live. One is a plastic “make believe fence” to keep lacrosse players from parking along the road on their side. The guys practice on the field in front of my old school and would park their cars on the grass of the house across the street. Those two sections of white plastic fencing put an immediate halt to the parking/smushed grass problem. The other is a traditional “real fence” of wood.

love the real, of course. :)
ReplyDeleteThe real wooden one is what I like but the plastic one is rather pretty along the highway and shame on those lacross players. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your Grandson!
"Make believe fence"...I like that! LOL! Obviously, it performs its intended purpose. The wood fence is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGlad you explained about that first one...now it makes perfect sense! Love that last one!

I don't usually like the plastic fences but in this case they serve their purpose well!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to your grandson!
I don't like fake usually, but that one has a job to do. The real one is beautiful Congrats to the grandson.
ReplyDeleteKids dont care about grass...glad the short fence is keeping them off!!
ReplyDeleteI like the long fences, because they're useful and not purely for decorative purposes!

Important things first: congratulations to your grandson. The white fence may serve its purpose, but yikes, I'm anti-plastic. Give me that wood fence.
ReplyDeleteI like both photos. The contrast of the white fence against the greens is fabulous and of course there is nothing like the regular olde wooden fence surrounding this property. Really nice
ReplyDeleteNeat fences! Have a great trip to see the lacrosse game and support your grandson!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome shots Genie. Congrats to your Grandson. B
