This is a blog designed to document my journey from just snapping pictures to learning how to truly capture the moment using my Canon Rebel XSi camera. I love photographing my children, grandchildren, and all of the beautiful scenery and nature surrounding me where I live here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Never do I leave the house without my camera in hand.

Excellent macros! They are such contraptions, aren't they? My bike is currently living in my bedroom as I have nowhere to store it!
