Kerrs Creek

This is Kerrs Creek close to our house when it’s not flooding. It has been raining heavily since yesterday, and now we are having mudslides and low water areas and bridges flooding throughout the county. This evening on the news, the weatherman said we could get snow before morning. Maybe we won’t have school tomorrow :-) or at least go in two hours late :-) We shall see.

Just maybe there will be a rainbow waiting for us in the morning. That would really be special. We have not seen many of them lately.

This post is linked with Watery Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday.

  1. Hope you see the rainbow first. Would be funny if you have snow before me. We are still on the warm side here. High 30's and next week 40's WooHoo for me. :)

  3. It either seems to rain too much, or it doesn't rain at all!

  7. a wonderful rainbow. :) You have a creek like that close to where yopu live. Lots of shooting opportunities I think. But I hope you did not gett too much snow. We are expecting a storm soon. But so far it is calm where I live. The storm will probably be a bit south from here.

  8. I particularly like your black and white photos. I am not sure which one i like best - love textures and compassion of both - but also the deep perspective in the second -as well as the contrast between the rock shapes and the wispy lines of the trees (got a bit carried away here - but really admire them both)
