Every year there is a fall festival at the Cyrus McCormick Homeplace at Raphine, VA...very close to my school. Here are some photos from that fun day.

I just couldn’t leave him out of the post. He is not being a brides fellow, but rather he treated me to some of these dried somethings which have little black berries on the tops.

ReplyDelete«Louis'» paternal grandfather was a farmer who always bought McCormick (later International Harvester) tractors.
There is a town called Walnut Grove on the Sacramento River Delta some 60 miles northeast of Chez la Vache. Yes, they grow walnuts there!

Hello Genie I am so happy you found me you have such beautiful photos on your blog. To hear that you are a teacher at the young age of 72 amazes me yes it is to bad we live so far apart I am sure we would have lots to talk about as we seem to have a lot of the same interests.
