ReplyDeleteaww...love it...
ReplyDelete«Louis» hopes you and your family had a splendid Thanksgiving, Genie!
ReplyDeleteI could have sworn I'd commented on that 2nd image... The rocks in the foreground is what caught my attention!
ReplyDeleteBoth cool shots & thanks so much for the comment you left... You're too kind & I appreciate you immensely! =)
Wonderful images, I like the way you present them.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great Thanksgiving with lots to be thankful for.
Your photos have so much soul--the B &Ws in the first post and then in this one. The fence that Gene built respects privacy without being unfriendly. And that last shot just says end of November so eloquently.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous fence! I love the weathered grey surface. It's a well built fence that is decorative as well as serving it's purpose: keeping something in and something else out. Also love the fall colors and the shadow. The second shot is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteThe river scene is breathtaking, Genie!
ReplyDeleteENSCONCED IN THE SKY
If I were firmly ensconced in the sky,
Earth wouldn’t matter, and I’ll tell you why:
I would be dancing with millions of stars,
Or whirling around from Venus to Mars,
Then I’d consort with a comet or two—
Life would be good, from my point of view!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, love the Autumnal colours
ReplyDeleteLovely colours, well-captured!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos. Nature is just outstanding at providing us with things to amaze and delight.
ReplyDeleteThat second one is very vintage!!! Love the colors and the vintage look!!!
ReplyDeleteI like the treatment on the 22nd photo. Like a faded instamatic shot.
ReplyDeletereally lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very nice fence and what a fabulous gate. Your neighborhood looks like it's really enjoying autumn. I agree with the comment above...your second shot looks very vintage! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVisiting late from Skywatch, hope you can take a peek at my skywatch entry also. Thanks. Have a great weekend.
I love how the fence fits its surroundings so beautifully
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fence and love the texture on the second shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, the second one is superb.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful nature shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting contrast - the suburban tract with a shadowy fence contrasted with the very rural and wild river. We may like to live in the nice house on most occasions, but really enjoy the occasional escape to the country. Neat!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shadows!
ReplyDeleteShadow at my page, please come and see.
That's great how the first tree is reflected into another complete tree. You get 2 for 1, must be black Friday.
ReplyDeletei just love the shadow on the fence, photographed shadows are amazing!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful reflection in the second one, soft interesting shades of color in the water!!
I love the reflection shot. Both are good but that one really grabs me.
ReplyDeleteThe tree shadow on the fence is bold and profound!
ReplyDeleteSHADOWY DELIGHT
Shadows above me, shadows below,
Shadows beside me, wherever I go;
Shadows each morning, shadows at night—
Shadows, O shadows, you’re my delight!
